Solotrust.com - Acara penghargaan musik terbesar di Asia, Mnet Asia Music Awards (MAMA) kembali digelar tahun ini. Berlansung pada 6 Desember 2020 di Korea Selatan, acara ini berlangsung tanpa dihadiri penonton karena situasi covid-19. Ada 50 lebih penghargaan yang diberikan tahun ini.

BTS menjadi penerima penghargaan terbanyak tahun ini. Grup asal Big Hit Entertainment itu kembali menyapu bersih semua penghargaan tertinggi/Grand Prize atau Daesang, setelah tahun lalu mendapatkannya. Ada empat Daesang yang mereka peroleh yakni Album of the Year untuk “Map of the Soul: 7",  Song of the Year untuk “Dynamite", Worldwide Icon of the Year, dan Artist of the Year.

Grup itu juga memperoleh empat penghargaan lain, yakni Best Male Group, Best Performance – Male Group (“Dynamite”), Best Music Video (“Dynamite”), dan the Worldwide Fans’ Choice Top 10. Lagu “eight" dari IU featuring Suga, yang sekaligus diproduksi Suga juga menang untuk kategori Best Collaboration

Dari Indonesia, Yovie Widianto meraih penghargaan Best Composer of the Year. Penyanyi pendatang baru Tiara Andini meraih penghargaan Best New Asian Artist, sementara Rizky Febian meraih Best Asian Artist.
