SOLO, solotrust.com - Tahun ini iHeartRadio kembali menggelar ajang penghargaan iHeartRadio Music Awards. Ajang untuk merayakan lagu-lagu maupun artis-artis terpopuler dari tahun 2018 yang diputar di jaringan iHeartRadio tersebut digelar di Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, Amerika Serikat pada Kamis (14/3/2019) waktu setempat.

Tahun ini, kategori Song of the Year dimenangkan oleh lagu bergenre dance, yakni "The Middle" dari Zedd, Maren Morris dan Grey. Lagu tersebut menang dari sejumlah hits lain seperti "Girls Like You” dari Maroon 5 featuring Cardi B dan “Perfect” dari Ed Sheeran.

Sementara itu, predikat Artist of the Year diraih oleh penyanyi pop Ariana Grande. Dalam kategori Female Artist of the Year sendiri, Ariana menang dari sejumlah artis wanita lain yakni Camila Cabello, Cardi B, Dua Lipa, dan Halsey.

Untuk kategori Male Artist of the Year, penyanyi hip hop Drake menang dari sejumlah kandidat lain yakni Ed Sheeran, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, dan Shawn Mendes.

Sedangkan untuk kategori Best Duo/Group of the Year, 5 Seconds Of Summer menang dari sejumlah grup lain yakni Imagine Dragons, Maroon 5, Panic! At The Disco, dan twenty one pilots.
